Our Story
Enablet was created from a simple observation: while technology continues to advance, access to it has not kept pace for everyone.
As a student working closely with peers, seniors, and community organizations, our founder saw firsthand how many people struggle not because they lack motivation, but because they lack the right tools, guidance, or support. Outdated devices, confusing interfaces, and limited digital literacy can quickly become barriers to education, communication, and opportunity.
Enablet began as a small, early-stage effort to close that gap—by making technology more accessible, more understandable, and more human. What started with informal tech help and device support has grown into a broader mission centered on education, refurbished technology, and responsible digital use.

Ryan Gong is the Founder & Executive Director of Enablet. He leads the organization’s mission to bridge the digital divide by refurbishing technology, educating seniors and youth, and promoting responsible, accessible tech use in underserved communities.
